Snapdragon 895 GPU teased to get a major upgrade
While cellular processors still play numbers when it comes to clock speeds, there are also bottom currents that put the emphasis on system-on-chip graphics capabilities. Part of it can be driven by a growing cellular gaming market, and some of it is caused by the increase in the sophistication of the cellular user interface. There are some excitement and curiosity around the use of Samsung’s AMD Radeon Graphics technology for the upcoming Exynos 2200 chip, but Qualcomm naturally won’t need sitting situation and maybe Priming Snapdragon 895 to deal with it.
Snapdragon 895, if it will be the commercial name SM8450, will follow in the footsteps of Snapdragon 888 as a Premier Mobile AP (application processor). It will be made using a 4NM process and will come up with a new modem-RF Snapdragon X65 5G system built in the same process. Meanwhile, it has signaled a big step, Lenovo executive teases something bigger is work.
A post on Weibo from Lenovo China Business Manager Chen Jin said that the next Snapdragon Flagship GPU would be greatly enhanced. Xda theorize that the GPU number of Adreno 730 has pointed to a big leap compared to Adreno 660 Snapdragon 888. Of course, it is difficult to imagine what big changes in the store, but Lenovo Chen Jin seems quite impressed with the chipset that will come to the smartphone gaming top company Next, The Legion 3 Pro.
The Snapdragon 895 CPU will not be abandoned. It is expected to take advantage of a core cortex-x2, three core cortex-a710, and four core Cortex-A510 which was all announced earlier this year. The first uses the new Arm V9 architecture, this design promises a performance increase of 30% to 40%.
Qualcomm is expected to announce the successor to Snapdragon 888 near the end of the year, and will be interesting to hear which cellphones will compete to be the first to use it. However, a more interesting battle will be held in the Galaxy S22, which will have exynos 2200 sports models and Snapdragon 895. The next gene chip can mark a slight change in the AP market to raw hour and into graphic skills, similar to what is happens on the PC market.
