Samsung disables the Galaxy Z Fold 3’s camera if you unlock its bootloader
Do not unlock your new Samsung Galaxy Fold 3’s Bootloader if you do not know what you are getting on, or you can regret it. According to XDA-developers, the folding device shows a warning when you try to unlock your boot charger, informing you that it does “it will make the camera be deactivated and can make your phones and applications stop correctly”. In fact, that is exactly what happens when it happens with the process to get access to the root and modify the device software.
After unlocking the boot charger, you will notice that the application of the value camera will not work. You can no longer activate it to take photos, and applications on your phone that use the camera will not be able to access it, too. These applications, yes, including third-party camera applications, only remain dark or time after a while, so there is no solution. In fact, all the characteristics related to the camera will stop working, including facial recognition.
We have arrived at Samsung for a statement and told us that the company has nothing to share right now. As the publication notes, Samsung has always made it difficult to root its telephones: Modifying the device software already cancels your warranty and kills Samsung Pay. However, this is the protection of the next level, and perhaps the most effective, considering most people at this time, often, use their telephones as cameras. XDA says that reconing the boot loader again will also enable the Galaxy Fold 3 camera, so everyone will not be lost if you decide to try it and get through a solution.
