Realme Book Slim Laptop Review
Realms begin as a smartphone manufacturer, but it seems that smartphone manufacturers begin to branch out to market outside of cellular devices and can be used. As if trying to flex the muscles of the technology, young brands have now launched their first laptop, realist book, A.K.A. The RealMe Book Slim. Aiming for a MacBook family, a laptop tries to balance power, portability, and price, just like many other laptops on the market today. Naturally, we just need to take it to spin to see if the Slim realm book does have enough points to stand out from the very crowded laptop window market.
Design and display
As his first laptop, a sleek realist book is needed to make a good impression, and for corporate credit, he managed to pull it beautifully. Simple, clean, and not flashy notebook design. Even the mirror logo design on the cover is almost not the smooth aluminum alloy that is refined through sandblasting and anodizing.
The profile profile of the Slim realm is minimalist, although some may find the number of ports available to be a little limiting (more about it). Realist likes to emphasize the thickness of the 14.9mm slim notebook, which may be inaccurate in the market. That said, that the point of the bullet must be put into context, with a screen, specification, and the price point plays the same role in building a Slim book realm book.
The screen came as a 2K 14-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2160 × 1440. It gave him a 3: 2 aspect ratio that was closer to the Microsoft Surface laptop than any MacBook. There is not much room dead around the panel, except at the bottom, giving the screen ratio to the 90% body that is truly proud.
More than just a beautiful face, the screen is also very beautiful. The colors are declared gymnastics on sharp and sharp panels that provide sufficient brightness for indoor use. Unfortunately, the brightness of Max 400 Nit did not do many things outdoors, especially under bright ambient light.
Hardware and Performance
Specification
As a 2021 laptop, the Slim realm book tries to offer the best that can but in the end, compromise for the sake of price. The 11th Intel Core Processor complies with animals, but only the core i3-1115G4 and the core i5-1135g7 is available, leaving extreme power which only offers core i7. Realme offers 8GB and 16GB of LPDDR4X memory configuration and 256GB and 512GB storage capacity, both types of PCIE SSDs.
Consumers who are limited by the budget may be tempted to be satisfied with the I3 core model, but they will lose more than just a clock cycle. Only the Core i5 configuration, for example, supports the latest Bluetooth 5.2 specifications and new Wi-Fi 6 technology. Both options have the same number of ports, but only the i5 core that truly supports Thunderbolt 4. Other ports include a USB-C port, USB-A port, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Another critical difference is that only the Core i5 model is equipped with Xe Intel Iris graphics technology. Although it does not offer the same power level as newer integrated graphics on the current laptop game, it is still an amazing first experiment from Intel that will be enough to power many multimedia applications and some PC games.
Benchmarks and cooling
Although it obviously did not have a candle to the Core i7 laptop, our Core i5 review unit still managed to attract decent results both in the Regular Geekbench test suite and its computing benchmark. The Slim realm book does exceed the latest MacBook pro only because the latter uses the generation of older Intel processors. Compare with M1 Macbooks, however, is an apple for oranges, said intended.
