Oculus update lets Quest headsets auto-sync VR media to mobile

Oculus is deploying an update of your Quest VR headphones that includes several settings and improvements. The highlight is the ability to automatically synchronize your photos and video files saved directly to the Mobile Oculus application. In that way, you can manage and share those captures in the game when you are outside the headset.

The function can be activated by opening the Files application of the Quest application library and selecting the cloud icon in the upper right corner of the panel. Then, your saved files will be available in the “Synchronous Media” section under the Devices tab in the mobile application. Oculus says the media will be dismissed and automatically eliminated from the application after 14 days.

The improvement is the last directed to the saved means. In the V29 update earlier this year, OCULUS introduced a browser application that allows you to download and upload files to websites, which makes the task more transparent than the headphones plug on a PC.

Additional features include the option of gift sets directly from the headset, a process that was previously limited to browsers or the mobile application of Oculus. Now you can also interact with your Facebook friends and Oculus of the People tab in Messenger.

Finally, Oculus is changing its function of movement oriented to physical form. It is moving to the objectives of weekly exercises instead of the newspapers, which will be visible in the redesigned calendar. Maintaining the focus on long-term objectives, now you will see that the revised suggested calorie calorie objectives are reviewed. In addition, you can share your training statistics to Facebook, including groups, Messenger and your timeline.
