Google will tailor Play Store ratings based on location starting in November
Whether you are an Android or iOS user, there is a good chance that you are looking at user reviews and evaluations before you decide to download an application on your device. In the hope of making the most useful for everyone, Google plans to make two shoots on the Play Store.
From November, the assessments you see will be based on where you live. So, for example, if your device is saved in Japan, you must first see what other Japanese users think of the application you will download. Then, some time next year, Google Tweak plans more stores play ratings to better reflect the device you use, whether it’s a phone, tablet, foldable, chromebook or smartwatch. “This will give users a better impression of the experience they can expect from the device they use,” the company says change.
Partly, Google makes these tweaks for help developers. He wants to avoid a situation where in a domain ratings impact on the overall perception of an application. This can occur in cases where a bug affects a single localized version of the software. Of course, that compartmentalization means you can learn from these same bugs before uploading an application.
